Evidence-Based Medicine: In Sherlock Holmes' Footsteps PDF

I was pleased with the EBM based on S. Holmes. I found that there are so many 'new' ways to develop and encourage critical thinking but I get even better results consulting "age old" successful methods.
Glad to have the copy at hand

This slim volume is a very enjoyable way to approach a subject which appears daunting at first blush. All the methodologies seen in the medical literature are discussed, but with references to episodes within the Sherlock Holmes canon which illustrate the points in question. For the devoted fan, it's a delightful treat; for the reader newly introduced to the detective from 221B Baker Street, it's a charming invitation to view 21st century medicine through a 19th century lens. And it's very portable, so you can slip it into either coat pocket or purse and read it at a moment's notice.
