It was exactly what I had expected it to be. It is very informative and exactly what I was looking for.

After purchasing the kindle version, I started reading and found this is an adjunct to an earlier book (seemed to imply both were required). The authors state they decided to leave out references because they wanted to keep the book small. However when I went to view the Clinical Assessment for Mentalization only half the table was there. I returned the book without reading further. Perhaps I ought to have read it first. However, these issues were off putting.
If you get this book, consider the hard copy and know that you will probably want to get the earlier published mate to it (Sorry I can't remember the tile of the mate).
