If you are required to write progress notes in a mental health setting, this is the book for you. It saved me many hours of trying to find the right terms to document interactions with clients. Medi-Cal always accepted the notes I wrote with this reference. I also found it useful in treatment planning. Although there is another book by the same publisher that is specifically designed for treatment planning, this is the one I'd buy if I had to choose.

The Severe and Persistent Mental Illness "Progress Notes Planner" is a essential additional to my library. The book is exactly what it claims to be. If one is billing Insurance, including Medi-Cal, this is a needed addition. My book came to me in excellent condition and very, very timely in delivery. Fast and exactly what I wanted.
