Great outline of "essential" Chinese medicinal formulas (combinations) with modifications. The book is written tersely and is a very valuable study guide. Highly recommended for prioritized study. Carefully written with well thought out explanations. Doesn't replace Dan Bensky & Randy Barolet's "Chinese Herbal Medicine - Formulas & Strategies" but then it does not purport to do so.
