A Colorful Introduction to the Anatomy of the Human Brain: A Brain and Psychology Coloring Book PDF
I bought this book to help me with my cognitive neuroscience class, and it proved to be very useful. I think it'd work best for those who are visual learners. Rather than looking at a diagram in a book and memorizing it, I was spending a few minutes on certain sections of the brain to color them in, which made the parts (and functions, which I kept reviewing while coloring) stick in my mind.By S. L. Boyer
This is a good book for someone who knows next to nothing about neuroanatomy but if you have at least a basic working knowledge of the brain then this book is not for you. I'd suggest going for the popular competitor. I'm a Neuroscience Undergrad and wanted a simple neuroanatomy coloring book to pass the time and seal in anatomical structures but this book was overly simplistic. I ordered the competitor and am much happier with that purchase. HOWEVER, if you are new to the world of neuroanatomy I think this book will be a solid buy - it gives clear descriptions and the drawings are not complicated. It is for that reason I give it 4 stars. It would be 5 but some of the enlargements for the pictures looked distorted which made the book seem "cheap", other than that, for a neuroanatomy novice/beginner - this is a good book, but if you have already learned a thing or two about the brain, go with the competitor.By KC
