Make sure when ordering that you are receiving the TEXT BOOK and not the WORK BOOK as I did. I showed up for class with the wrong book!! Then I had to pay full price at the book store because I had to have the book right away!!By Bonnie
Body Structures and Functions: Hardcover Edition (Body Structures & Functions)By Elaine B
I have utilized this book for quite some time. The students love the illustrations, medical terminology sections, as well as it's ease of learning, and have stated, for the most part that they consider this a wonderful book.
It is mainly utilized for students who must take it if they are in a program for certain medical field positions such as Ward Clerks, Medical Administrative Assistants, etc. There is no way a nursing student would be able to use this, but that is what is good about it. It basically depends on what level of A&P learning one needs.
I also have found some errors in the past, but realize it is really our responsibility to contact the publisher in the hopes of them addressing them. I have been at fault here, in the past, but will not ignore it again because overall this is a too nice a book to downgrade it in it's entirety.
