Conducting Research Literature Reviews: From the Internet to Paper PDF

I am using this book for a Public Health course for my PhD program. It has been helpful for class as well as for understanding the use of literature reviews.
By Stephanie J. Cummings
The simple fact that this book is in its third edition indicates that there has been enough interest on the part of readers, the author and the publishers in the previous editions to justify bringing the book up to date and adding new materials and techniques. This is good because the internet is constantly growing in size and complexity and learning how to find selectively isolate pertinent material to your project is becoming ever harder. While conducting such research is getting harder, it is also producing research that is more complete, more useful than was possible before.

Dr. Fink is Professor of Medicine and Public Health at UCLA and associated with several other organizations. Her main interests include evaluation and survey research and the conduct of research literature reviews as well as the evaluation of their quality. She knows whereof she speaks.
