This book an excellent tool for counselors involved in counseling couples. It has some great thought provoking assignments that the couple can do at home and then process in session. I feel that the homework presented in the planner will save the counselor time but also increase the counselor's knowledge of how to best help the couple.By K. Stutzer
I am a therapist and have found the handouts and activities in this book to be very helpful in my work with couples. You will particularly like these handouts if you prefer solution-focused or strategic therapy. Some of the activities require the clients to commit for more than an hour or day, but if the clients will do them, they will find them helpful. I like how the activities help the clients stop doing "more of the same" and start making small changes to their interactions; it also helps them focus more on the positive things occurring in their relationships.By A. P. Owen
