Good general review but did not give me adequate information to successfully complete 2 of the 5 sections of the NCC recertification Competency Assessment in the areas of Pharmacology, and Physical Assessment and Diagnostic Tools

I purchased this study guide to complement the ACNM exam prep workshop study guide. While I found Midwifery & Women's Health Nurse Practitioner certification review guide helpful, many of the practice questions were basic information recall, not information application as were many of the questions on the actual certification exam. I did pass the certification exam but I used multiple sources to study from not just this study guide. If you are looking forward to the "additional online study questions" you should be aware that the online information is the same information found in the book. Overall, good information but as I mentioned, I would not use this guide as your only study source.
