Saunders Q & A Review Cards for the NCLEX-RN Exam PDF
This item comes in a box with approximately 360 note cards that have questions on the front and answers on the back. There are seven sections: Fundamental skills, leadership/management and delegating prioritizing, pharmacology, maternity, child health, adult health, and mental health. Each of the seven sections is color coded so it's easy to keep track of them. I pulled them out a section at a time and kept them is a zip-lock baggie that I carried with me everywhere. It was small enough to be convenient. This was an excellent NCLEX prep for me because there were some hard and some medium-good questions in each section. A drawback is that the pharmacology section was skimpy, but all the sections together made this item well worth it. I passed NCLEX in 75 questions without breaking a sweat. My main (and highly recommended) test prep book was Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination by Linda Anne Silvestri; load the CD on your computer and work the bank of test questions. The book is a concise and superb synopsis of need-to-know nursing information (Laboratory Values [great section], OB-Peds, Fundamental Skills, Blood Administration, Respiratory, Cardio, etc., etc.). Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination by Linda Ann Silvestri gives you the how and why for procedures and diseases. There's tons of high quality questions in the book and on the CD. One test prep I would not buy is Kaplan's NCLEX-RN Strategies, Practice, and Review because it has very little information in it; only the questions were worthwhile and I had plenty of other resources for questions.By Charlie
The final word? Saunders Q&A Review Cards was a useful, helpful, and convenient addition to my main study resource (which was the Saunders Comprehensive Review for the NCLEX-RN Examination).
The Saunders Q&A review cards do not dissappoint! I used these cards to help me review OB and Mental Health content and my friend and I used them to study for boards! She passed with 75 questions and thought these cards were very helpful. I can't wait to share these cards with my study group in the Fall.By Kenya Pratt
