Schaechter's Mechanisms of Microbial Disease PDF

My professors highly recommended this book, and I grudgingly bought it. I am really happy with it as it provides important context and explanation as well as interesting stories relating to the topic at hand while remaining compact and portable. For a textbook- it's fantastic. For lite evening reading... doable I guess.

Great picures! use wikipedia if necessary for expanded information. Useful to have background in immunology....or just learn immunology as you read.
