Hacker & Moore's Essentials of Obstetrics and Gynecology: With STUDENT CONSULT Online Access, 5e ) PDF

I just cracked this book open and have been flying through it. It's well laid out, edited, and easy to read. I enjoy that the most important facts are bolded and very succinct. This book doesn't drone on with lots of unnecessary details but lends you enough explanation to make clear each topic it is elucidating. The aesthetics are pleasing, and although it's a little pricey (show me a textbook that isn't!), the fact that you have online access to the book and that the pages are thick and sturdy, I think this will turn out to be a good investment.

This is a great book, that is quick and easy to read (coming from a very slow reader in general). It has the information you will need for OBGYN rounds as a student or resident, and is still referred to by many attendings.

This is actually one of the few books that I read all the way through during school. And no, I am not an OBGYN.
